Silica Series

An ongoing series looking at the hidden beauty of the refractive qualities of glass. I'm interested in how the use of light through cut glass bowls create a sort of sacred geometry, almost releasing the spirit within the glass, making the invisible, visible,. The patterns created onto the light sensitive paper are delicate, and also have a fragile quality to them. The unique nature of glass and the way the light bounces around the structure creates a unique image.
